APPLE TART

This quick and easy apple tart is just the thing to kick off all your cozy fall vibes. If you're dreaming of sweater weather, bonfires, and colorful leaves, this sweet treat is the perfect place to start!

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole sheet frozen puff pastry (half a 17-ounce package), thawed and cut in half
  • Nonstick cooking spray 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 large apple, cored, halved and sliced, but not peeled
  • Store-bought caramel sauce, for serving 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

2. Place the puffed pastry rectangles onto a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Add the sugar, salt and lemon juice to the apples in a large bowl. Stir to combine. Allow to sit for a few minutes.

3. Arrange the apple slices on the pastry rectangles in a straight line, overlapping as you go. (Leave the juices behind in the bowl.) Bake until the pastry is puffed and golden brown, about 20 minutes.

4. Remove the tarts from the baking sheet immediately and place on a serving platter.

5. Serve with caramel sauce and chopped pecans


CORN CASSEROLE

This comforting Thanksgiving Corn Casserole is a must-have for your holiday table! With golden cornbread, sweet corn, and a touch of cheesy goodness, it’s the perfect blend of savory and sweet. Warm, hearty, and full of flavor, this simple side dish brings that homemade, cozy feeling to every bite—just right for family gatherings and festive feasts.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. Mexican corn bread mix
  • 1 16 oz can cream style corn
  • 1 16 oz whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 stick margarine
  • Cheese (desired amount)

Directions:

1. Sauté onions and bell pepper in margarine until tender.

2. Mix with other ingredients. 

3. Pour into casserole dish and bake at 375 for 45 minutes. 

4. Serve while hot

NOTES: Add chicken or turkey for a dressing alternative.

 

CRAB STUFFED MUSHROOMS

These savory Crab Stuffed Mushrooms are a delicious mix of creamy crab filling and baked-to-perfection mushrooms. Elegant enough for the holidays but simple enough for any weeknight dinner, they’re a comforting favorite you’ll want to make again and again.

Ingredients:

  • Baby bell mushrooms
  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp finely diced onion
  • 1½ Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup finely chopped parsley
  • Pepper & salt

Directions:

1. Prep Mushrooms:
Preheat oven to 400°F.
On a greased baking sheet, remove stems from mushrooms.

2. Make the Filling:
Mix crab meat, cream cheese, onion, parmesan, and parsley. Season with pepper and salt.

3. Stuff the Mushrooms:
Fill the mushroom caps with the mixture. Sprinkle extra parmesan cheese on top.

4. Bake:
Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly. Garnish with extra parsley.

Notes: We shredded crab for easy mixing into small chunks.
