SUMMER CRAFT PARTY IDEAS
Kick off summer by inviting your crafty crew over for a craft party and day of DIYs. As you can tell, we LOVE a creative moment and today we’ll be showing you how to plan and host your very own party using our Happy Crafts kits. Get out your planner and let’s get started!
1. WHO’S COMING?
Invite your BFFs, girl squad, family, coworkers, or new friends you’d like to get to know better! Make your list and send out an invite. If you have some less experienced crafters, don’t worry! There’s something for everyone and of all different skill levels.
2. SET THE SCENE
It’s not a party without snacks! Grab takeout, make it a potluck, or build a charcuterie board. Be sure to grab your favorite desserts and drinks of your choice. Decorate your table with flowers and get your playlist ready–we really want to set up the ambiance! (And you’ll definitely want a picture-perfect moment for all your crafts)
3. CHOOSE YOUR CRAFTS
Now for the important part…choosing your crafts! You can have everyone do the same craft or ask them to choose their favorite! Work on one together or create your own to bring home after. Our favorite thing about Happy Crafts kits is that everything is included, which will save you that last-minute trip to the craft store.
Get creative with this classic! The bracelet kit comes in a variety of colors and themes. It includes a plastic case, colorful beads/charms, glue, and stretch cords. Make friendship bracelets and spell out names or your favorite inspo word with the alphabet beads!
Another easy craft is the scratch board kit! Each kit includes 4 printed and 4 blank boards. Trace the design to reveal foil or rainbow backgrounds. More of a free spirit? Use the included tool kit and the blank boards to create a design on your own.
Unwind, relax, and paint by number. Bring out the mocktails and paint on a warm summer night. This kit comes with a pre-printed canvas, labeled colors, and paint brushes. Follow the style card and match the paint to the designated printed numbers. You can even hang your masterpiece when you’re done!
You will need to get your own tees, totes, or other cotton options but this kit has the rest! Each tie-dye kit includes 12 dye colors, bottles, plastic gloves, and rubber bands. Make designs with your family or friends and wear your matching outfits together.
Punch needle is a variation of embroidery. These kits come with framed and unframed options with pre-printed designs, an adjustable punch needle tool, and colorful wool yarn. Loop your yarn in the tool and punch away to bring the design to life. Hang your completed artwork when you’re done!
