Two FAB Examples of Fully Functional Happy Planning™

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and we planner babes here at me & my BIG ideas believe that a well-loved, filled up, frequently used Happy Planner™ is one of the most beautiful sights to see!

Today we're sharing two different fully functional, yet beautiful, weekly layouts in a CLASSIC sized undated Happy Planner™ of mambi Design Team member Stephanie Howell (IG | blog) - who we just might declare the Queen of Functional Happy Planning™!

Black & White w/ touches of gold

About these pages, Stephanie writes:

"I've mentioned it before and I know I'll mention it again...my life is kind of insane right now. Five children, ten and under, and two work from home jobs...yeah, I'm like a chicken with my head cut off most days."

I literally cannot remember a single thing if it's not in my planner. I look at it about 20 times a day. Therin lies the rub. I don't have a lot of time to make my planner super beautiful YET I want it to be cute AND functional. I use the sticker books to add 'fancy' touches to my planner pages but they are still very very functional. I get stuff DONE.

On this spread I flipped through my sticker books and went with a color scheme. Black & white with touches of gold. I just pulled and gathered stickers that matched the theme. This color scheme immediately added a touch of elegance to my planner and made it more fun to look at . I especially love the handwritten stickers."

'Decking the Halls' w/ stickers, lots of lists, and doilies

About these pages, Stephanie writes:

"As I was sitting down to do my spread for this week, I realized December was coming and I got CRAZY excited. However, the colors in my undated Happy Planner™ were not conducive to Christmas. Salmony pink doesn't immediately bring December to mind. I decided to roll with it and see if I could make it work...

...and I DID! I love the way my spread turned out.  I chose my favorite stickers in shades of red, green, black, and gold. I think the leaves from the seasonal sticker book add such a gorgeous and chic touch to this spread. It makes me so happy to look at these pages!

Happy Planner with Stickers and Doiles

I'm all about layering stickers on my spreads and I did lots of that this week. It's an easy way to add texture and depth to your spreads. Not to mention the fact that it's an EASY way to make simple spreads look fancy. ..and another weekly using the handwritten stickers from mambi all over the place! Instant magic!

I also added a few doily bits to the tops and edges of my pages. I LOVE doilies and use them on everything! ...of course this transfers to my Happy Planner™ too!"
