We’re taking candles to a whole new level of HAPPY!

In this post, we're going to decorate candles and style them for some cozy, fall vibes!

Supplies needed:

  • Happy Planner stickers of your choice (I went with a fall vibe)
  • Happy Planner washi tape to match your stickers or theme
  • 2 candles from Dollar Tree (or any candles you already have on hand)
  • Glossy Mod Podge
  • Small paintbrush

Step 1

Grab your Happy Planner stickers & washi to start decorating your candles! Have fun here! The best part is that your stickers and washi will come up which means you get to move things around as needed!

Don’t worry though, in step 2, we will adhere them, so they don’t come off the candles!

I chose quotes for the center and decorated around those with fall florals and then I wrapped the top with 2 different styles of washi tape.

Get creative and make it your own!

The stickers I used are from the FALL 712 sticker book.

Step 2

After you’ve decided on sticker/washi placement, cover everything with a thin coat of Mod Podge. This will make sure the stickers do not come off your candles. You can do multiple layers if you want, just keep the layers thin.

NOTE: Mod Podge comes in different finishes-there’s glossy and matte. Since the candles are glossy, go with that. You can use the matte finish, but it will show more after drying.

Step 3

Let your candles dry and hey, while those are drying, it’s a great time to find some pieces to style it with. If you’re going with fall vibes like me, you can use pumpkins, mugs, other candles, vases, flowers, beads, etc. The options are endless!

*See photo for how I styled these candles.

Step 4

Style your super cute candles and enjoy them!
