And if you’re like us, you’re always looking to add some seasonal spice to your everyday. For fall 2024 we’ve put together a list of fall themed ideas for you, your friend, and even the fam!

1. Get the Friends Together for a Fall Brunch

Whether you’re a big fan of pumpkin or spiced apple... some quintessential fall flavors are just the BEST thing to look forward to this time of year. Brainstorm your own fall brunch ideas! Whether it’s having your friends over for a get-together for caramel apple cider mimosas or pumpkin scones (or even cinnamon rolls 😋), make it tasty!

This is one you can DIY or pick your fav brunch spot for a midday meetup. Whether you end up at your fave restaurant or opt for the at-home option, our NEW Sweets & Baking Classic Recipe Journal and Wine & Spirits Recipe Classic Recipe Journal are a great way to remember the recipes that really stuck with you for next year!

2. Treat Yourself to a Fall Makeover

Maybe you love to embrace the season in your style! Check out some fall hair colors and channel your inner autumn. Go for a rich chocolate brown, muted blonde, or honeycomb red or just anything that feels like it’s YOU. Fall nail designs can even be a fun way to express your love for the season. Maybe some pumpkin press-ons or caramel brown French tips.

Get some design inspo from our Halloween Value Pack Stickers. Maybe you want something not-so-spooky like potion bottles, adorable ghosts, black cats, or silly skeletons. Your options are endless! 3. Decorate Your Front Door for Fall

Christmas or winter isn’t the only time you can deck your halls! Or just your front door. Search up some fall door ideas or get together with friends and swap decoration inspiration. If you want to bring your fall decorating ideas inside, consider creating a fall themed centerpiece for your dining table. Make your door a place that not only welcomes your guests, but the season itself! If you have any fall table centerpiece ideas share them with us @the_happy_planner.

Add another element to the indoor decor with fall garland. Unleash your creativity with what you have on hand. That piles of leaves in the yard? Gather them up, string them together with some twine and make your house feel like all that is fall!

4. Go to a Farmer’s Market

Fall is a great time to indulge in seasonal treats. Maybe there’s a farmer’s market near you where you can get some fresh ingredients for your next apple pie or butternut squash soup. Bake up a storm and just get cooking. You might be a seasoned chef or someone who’s just starting their journey in the kitchen, but you can accomplish anything with the right plan.

We highly recommend using one of our Recipe Organizers to capture your best fall food ideas. So, get out there and peruse the fresh produce at your local farmer’s market.  Don’t forget to grab that scarf you’ve been waiting to wear all summer. 🧣

5. Write out Your Holiday Shopping List

The holidays are in full swing, and the next one will be here before you know it. Get a head start by creating your shopping lists beforehand! We’ve got loads of tools to help you organize your gift-giving plans. Our Christmas Classic Planner Companion or our Winter Fun Classic Planner Companion are great options for getting it all together.

If you want a more neutral palette to theme it however you like, our Checklist Classic Lined Filler paper is the perfect place to start! Don’t forget to add some seasonal accents to your planner with our sticker packs.

6. Escape to the Mountains for a Weekend

Nothing like a little getaway to reset your mind, body, and soul. Even if you’re just getting away for a day or two or three, reconnecting with nature can be a centering experience. Treat yourself or your family and sit around the fireplace with your devices turned off. Maybe even share what you’re grateful for in this season of life.

Our guided journals are made for rediscovering your inner self. Track your moods, practice gratitude, or look to the future and map out your goals. Make this a season of change and growth.

7. Host a Friendsgiving

You know what Thanksgiving is, but have you heard of Friendsgiving? Friendsgiving ideas can’t start the same way Thanksgiving ideas do! And it usually involves yummy food. Friendsgiving is usually celebrated on the Wednesday before or the Friday after Thanksgiving. Now’s a great time to get our new Savory Food Classic Guided Recipe Journal and start planning your own get-together.

This heart-warming holiday is generally focused on the non-family members you love in your life. Your found family! Get everyone together and celebrate the season. Also, eat.

8. Learn a New Craft

It’s so easy to find fall craft ideas out there! Been wanting to pick up a new skill? Maybe learn to knit or crochet a scarf or sweater? No time like the present. You might even be able to make something special to gift this holiday season. There are few things more rewarding than making something with your own two hands!

We have a super simple way to dip your toe into the ocean of handmade crafts. Our Happy Crafts kits have everything from tie-dye to punch needle to paint by number. Go on, get crafty!

9. Have a Bonfire

Yet another outdoor idea for fall! The heat of the summer has passed and it’s not too cold just yet. It’s really the best season for getting outside. Find a spot on the beach or even just break out the firepit and hang out in your backyard. Whip up some hot cider with those fresh picked apples from the neighbor’s yard and gather round the fire.

Share memories or good feelings with your group and maybe take a few photos to commemorate the occasion. Add our Happy Memory Keeping Seek Magic Big Memory Journal Extension Pack to any planner or notebook and create a time capsule of this special moment.

10. Take a Fall Hike

Enjoy the falling leaves up close with a stroll in the mountains or a local trail near you! Go at your own speed and find a path that suits your ability level. Nothing like a brisk walk to get the ideas flowing! You might even use this as a time to start a new routine. Use our Undated Fitness All Stars Happy Planner to begin setting resolutions for the new year a little early.

Wherever you choose to go on your hike, just take in the beauty that surrounds you and embrace the loveliness of this season.
